Romantic Rustic Elopement (C)

I had the pleasure of photographing Brittney & Tyler's private ceremony at the newly renovated and may I say incredibly romantic venue at Lazy S Ranch in Palmyra.    Tyler & Brittney have a beautiful blended family of four children together so a small quiet ceremony seemed fitting considering other priorities and a new home they recently purchased.   Although we pictured this day as very simple it couldn't have turned out more perfect.   We picked up a small bouquet that morning and a simple raspberry filled naked cake that family decorated themselves from left over bouquet flowers.   Tyler and Brittney even worked the day of their ceremony as his brother ran around putting together final touches on what they they would wear that evening.    The family all met at the home to get ready together, they enjoyed finger foods and good laughs.  The spirit in the home was light and full of love as Brittney awaited her cousin who would stand by her side.  Tyler and his brother Josh got ready chatting with their mother who was emotional the entire afternoon seeing her boys getting dressed so handsome for the occasion.    Both the mothers of Brittney and Tyler stayed back at the home with their grandchild so the two could go off and get married.   The family although hesitant about being absent for the ceremony respected their decision and sent them off anxiously awaiting their return to hear all the details and see pictures.   We headed off to the venue which was just about 10  from their home.  The approximate time would be 6pm when they said I do.   We arrived at this gorgeous romantic venue called Lazy S Ranch who graciously allowed  them to hold a private ceremony on the Friday evening of August 16th.   It was incredibly hot and the sun was beaming right on the location where the ceremony would take place but they didn't care about the heat they were both so excited and in love you could see it in their eyes.    The ceremony was performed by one of the couples best friends and family member, Darin.  He was so well spoken with such personal vows that I teared up a few times while trying to run around getting the best shots I could.  The ceremony was perfect sweet and inspiring After the ceremony was complete they cut the beautiful cake, too a few family photo's and we ventured off to the field to get what  shots we could as long as we could bare the heat.  After only about 20 minutes we all went back to their home where their family and good friends had gathered with food to celebrate the new union of Tyler & Brittney.   As I said this was not suppose to be much of anything Brittney wanted small and simple but the details mixed with her venue made it a nearly perfect evening, she nailed it!

Tyler & Brittney I am honored to have to have been part of this amazing day, it will go down in one of my most treasured memories.   May you have a life time of happiness & love!
